Welcome once again to the intimate surroundings of the Apehangers Comedy Club! Brought to you in partnership with our friends at the Leamington Comedy Festival.

Bringing you the funnies are Howard Read, Eshan Akbar & Sally Anne-Hayward.You lucky, lucky people. Howard Read is an award-winning stand-up and writer who's performed in front of the queen, allaround the world and headlines and MC's clubs throughout the UK.

In recent years hes been distracted by a hugely successful career in children's Television; He wrote, animated and starred in three series of his own (with Little Howard), and now writes for DangerMouse, Horrible Histories, Furchester Hotel among very many others. Breaking boundaries in stand-up comedy'

Eshaan Akbar A winner of the Piccadilly Comedy Club New Comedian of the Year 2016, Eshaan has been in the finals of other prestigious competitions, including So You Think You're Funny 2014 and Laughing Horse 2014. He has performed across the UK and in Germany and Bangladesh. In 2016, he supported Dane Baptiste on his UK tour. His professional career has taken him from private banking through to corporate communications via a career in local government public policy. He has previously written for The Guardian, The Timesonline, The Observer New Review and The Huffington Post UK.
